D-Suggs returns with a new single called “Crazy Thoughts”. The track dropped on October 9th and showcases another side of the up and coming artist.
Donovan Suggs, known as D-Suggs, is a hip-hop artist based in Baton Rouge, LA. Although he resides in Louisiana, D-Suggs has called several locations home throughout his life. He has lived in Las Vegas, Alabama, Louisiana, North Dakota, Virginia, and Turkey due to his military upbringing, leading him to call himself ‘The Boy From Everywhere’. The musical influences from the different regions he’s lived in have inspired his eclectic sound. His music ranges from melodic flows that allow his listeners to hear his own vulnerabilities, as heard in his first single “From Me To U”, to aggressive hype music meant to stir the crowd, as heard in “Just Another Rap Song”. Influenced by artists such as Bryson Tiller, J Cole, and Linkin Park, D-Suggs started writing music in the summer of 2016, but did not officially release a single until Dec. 5th, 2018. His first project, “Sounds You Should Hear!”, dropped in December of 2019.
