In an interview Cherokee stated, “At random my mind would take me back to things that I’ve experienced in my past, I’d fear once I reached a certain status someone would try to resurrect these things and I decided you know what everyone has a past, you’re supposed to acknowledge and make peace with it. To anyone listening, hold your head high and wear all phases of you with a badge of honor”.
