Violator: The Album is the first installment in the Violator hip hop compilations series. It was released on August 10, 1999 through Violator/Def Jam Recordings.
“Hit ‘Em High” was released on the soundtrack for the 1997 film, '“Space Jam”. This single was a collaborative track that featured artist Busta Rhyme,LL Cool J, Method Man, Coolio, and B-Real.
“Woo-Hah!! Got You All in Check” was Busta Rhymes single from his debut solo album “The Coming.” The album was a mix of reggae and hip hop, and it included the US and UK top 10 single that was successful in the US and sold well overseas.
The group's second and final album was T.I.M.E. ("The Inner Mind's Eye"), released in 1993, and spawning the fan-favorite singles "What's Next", "Time Will Tell" & "Classic Material".
